Honour's degree

Lebogang Hopane completed her university studies as a primary school teacher at the end of 2019 and has been working in a temporary position ever since.

Because of the pandemic, she had to wait a very long time for the graduation ceremony. In May of this year, the university made up for this.

In the meantime, however, Lebogang has already taken another step in her education. At the beginning of this year, she received the academic degree with distinction (Honour’s degree), which allows her to participate in a master's programme.

In May, she started her master's degree studies on a part-time basis. We are very proud of Lebogang and thank the organization, which - with its dedicated donations - has made the intellectual furtherance of orphans possible for years.

Another good example that the investment in the underprivileged children is worthwhile is  Tlabego Moswatupa. We were able to send him to a private school for a couple of years. Now he has completed his twelfth year of school with an excellent matric exam. As the best in his class and among the top three in his school, he was honoured in the local newspaper for his graduation with awards in all seven examination subjects and with an outstanding average of over 92%.

Tlabego has been accepted at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University in Ga- Rankuwa (not far from Soshanguve) and started studying medicine in February this year.
