It was one of the few end of year celebrations without our personal presence at the centre and we were only able to send our Christmas and New Year wishes via Skype communication. However, the team of carers prepared this celebration with great love and dedication and made the day a memorable experience for the children.
The whole team of carers (including the maths teacher and kitchen help) worked very well together. The decorations and the provision of a small gift for each child, as well as a sumptuous buffet, were a great treat for the children and made them forget that no swimming trip was possible this December due to financial constraints.
On the last day there was also dancing, singing and a time of reflection. A bouncy castle was also set up outside and the little ones had a great time.
